This apartment had everything a family with young kids can ask for. We booked the 2 bedroom apartment (with an additional sofa bed in the living room), traveling with an infant and a toddler. The living room was extremely spacious and well designed. Kitchen and bathrooms were fully stocked, extra towels and endless pillows available in closet. The daily cleaning offered by Hyatt was a godsend. The bedrooms were very sound proof and luxurious with lots of amenities. The only thing I didn't love was that the 2nd bedroom had a single bed, which was not ideal for co sleeping with toddler. The location is in a nice neighborhood but it's a 15 min transit to the central tourist areas/sites to see, and a several minutes walk to local restaurants. So if you're traveling with young kids, be prepared with a stroller and carrying kids for several minutes as you navigate transit. We did find the transit stations such as the metro and the bus to be quite accessible for the stroller. It helps to have the tap to pay with credit card option. Kids under 4 ride free (as of writing of this review).

Location could not be better! Right on Gran Via, surrounded by restaurants and shopping! Beautifully decorated rooms (small), ours was with great view of the street. Delicious breakfast available for purchase. Staff going their way to help with info and getting taxis. Great place to stay while in Madrid.

Breakfast and the the breakfast staff were outstanding. The variety of foods and beverages available was very impressive. The room was cleaned and bed sheets changed every day by a very good cleaning staff. Lastly, the location of the hotel is amazing.

Everything about my stay at Axel Hotel Madrid was perfect! The location is excellent, right in the heart of Madrid, making it super easy to get around and explore the city. The hotel is also very easy to find, and the staff was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and always happy to help. I had a wonderful experience and would definitely stay here again. Highly recommended!
