I really liked this hotel and the comfort it provides is unmatched. Every one of the staff members is really attentive and nice. The only reason I’m giving it 4 starts instead of 5 is the food. Out of all the restaurants around this hotel, just one met my expectations.

The hotel was excellent, starting from the reception on the first day until the last day when we had to check out. The concierge helps us on the first day with scheduling the restrings during the days of our stay and also with the many tours they provide. The room was very clean, they provided us with plenty of towels daily without having to ask. The fridge was filled daily, the cleaning crew was very friendly and there was always somebody asking if we needed anything in particular. The pool was perfect, the balcony was very clean, overall it was a great experience. I will recommend Garza Blanca without hesitation, I rate it 5 Starts.

Overall, I enjoyed my stay, but honestly, my group had fun because of US and the energy we brought, not because the resort provided enough entertainment. The Bash Tower room was nothing special, and I could have just kept the Trendy room. For a resort with this type of reputation, there definitely needs to be more entertainment and activities to keep the energy going. Also, be aware there is a $400 security deposit PER ROOM, which I found ridiculous. I’ve stayed at resorts in the Dominican Republic and Jamaica and never had to pay a security deposit like that. You aren’t just a basic hotel—you’re a resort, so act accordingly. The food was great, and that was definitely one of the highlights. Overall, we made the best of our trip and had a great time together, but as far as the resort itself goes, I’m not sure I would come back.

They should allow 17 years old to the shows.
