“It is a wonderful historic building with golf course in beautiful grounds. The hotel's defining feature is the pool, spa and gym facilities, which are well maintained and of very high standard. If this does not interest you, don't stay here. It seems like the primary business focus of the hotel is to host weddings and large celebratory events. “The hotel is very worn in all areas - carpet dirty and coming up. Hallways are dark and dingy. The room was dirty with mold in the bathroom. No AC and the window only opened 1 inch so the room was incredibly hot despite 2 fans. The location is great but I would never stay here again. I left early to go to the Holiday Inn.”
