“This is a very large and quite old hotel. The room we stayed in was large and pleasant but the hotel's plumbing was loud enough to disturb our sleep, as were the footsteps of the people in the room above. The WiFi in the room was inadequate and kept cutting out. I had to use the public areas to work. We booked the hotel because it had an outdoor pool, only to find that it was out-of-service during our stay. Whilst this might have been unavoidable, the staff weren't particularly concerned about...

We were warmly welcomed, and the information Steve shared about local restaurants helped us to find some delicious seafood even on a bank holiday weekend!! “No onsite parking as you have to park in the 4 level parade behind the Premier inn . The lift doesn’t work to get to street level . I have mobility issues and the 8 flights of stairs ? Had to walk down the ramp with suitcase in tow hoping you don’t slip or get stuck by a car . Asked the girl at reception, she’s like , well some times it works and sometimes it doesn’t! Big help . Complained the following day-and still not working asked the guy at reception to call the city council and complain....

“Lots of steps for older or disabled clients. Toilet flush not very efficient. The pressure wasn't strong enough to flush properly. The decor in the room needed up grading. Not enough plug points. The room was nice, and large. Just seemed a little un-loved.”
