We really enjoyed the pool and terrace area. The breakfasts were a great start to the day and also a good evening menu and all the staff were very helpful. I would recommend this hotel highly.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Osborne. The staff were extremely friendly and courteous and made us feel at home. The food and restaurant service were above our expectations and added to our enjoyment. Our room was well appointed with some touches and was very well serviced each day of our stay. Although an older property it was full of character and the terrace area overlooking the bay was a lovely place for us to sit and relax. We would certainly return to the Osborne and thanks to everyone who made our stay a lovely experience.

Staff were great and worked hard to cover all areas - especially Stephen, Jason, Bella and Jay. Appeared to be under staffed sometimes. Hotel - Great location and lovely views. Room - was not so great. Our bed was uncomfortable. Pillows were very thin. There was no chest of drawers to store clothes. Room had some cobwebs above the wardrobe and door. The bathroom door had a poorly repaired hole in it and iron burn/ mark on the carpet. No lift access to our room. Pool - The swimming pool and terrace was very nice and well maintained. The tennis court and terraces were similarly well kept. Dining - Limited menu choice but the food was good.

Most of the front of house staff were excellent and helpful. Only one obviously didn’t enjoy her work and it showed. The room was large, clean and comfortable but very hot. No air con but a fan was provided which helped. Breakfast was plentiful with a good choice of hot and cold food. We had dinner one night which was fine. The hotel is in a lovely setting at the top of a hill overlooking the sea. It has tennis courts and a nice pool. We were able to park and given a permit but it was very busy. A bus across the road from the hotel took you straight into Torquay for £1. Overall a wonderful stay and we will definitely stay at this hotel on our next visit.
