Photo "View south along Bridgham Lane past West Harling Common. West Harling, a village in the Thet valley, was deserted in the first half of the 18th century. Originally part of a cluster of settlements which all had the name 'Herlinga' in 1086, three of these had become known as West Harling (with its church of All Saints'), Middle Harling (with St Andrew's church) and Harling Thorpe. Middle Harling became part of West Harling parish in 1543. With a new Lord of the Manor, Richard Gipps, the fate of the until then fairly prosperous villages changed: Gipps bought all the houses except for one small cottage and so had reduced the number of dwellings. Gipps' heirs closed the old road, and the foundations of the demolished church in Middle Harling were uprooted to build up a marshy ground. All Saints church today stands isolated, the Hall built by Gipps was demolished in 1931 and conifer plantations cover much of his estate. What remains is a bust in the church 1709354 placed there by his great-nephew." by Evelyn Simak (Creative Commons Attribution-Share Alike 2.0) / Cropped from original

Rent guest houses in Bridgham

You’ve probably heard that “there’s no place like home,” but renting one of the best guest houses in Bridgham may just change your mind. When you rent guest houses for your vacation, you get way more than just a place to lay your head for the night—guest houses are often packed with bonus amenities that allow you to rest in ultimate comfort.

What are guest houses?

When you book a stay in guest houses, your lodgings can vary depending on what part of the world you’re in. In the U.S., you might find your accommodations ranging from small guest houses that share a property with another home to something more like an inn with bonus amenities. If you’re traveling internationally, guest houses are more akin to a bed and breakfast and could include boutique conveniences like homecooked meals and beverage services. These stays have a more personal touch and can be found across destinations, from a lush countryside to a tropical locale.

You’ll also discover a variety of styles of this welcoming lodging available, from tiny guest houses made to fit a tight budget all the way to luxury abodes built for splurging. You can expect to find guest houses for rent to fit your desired travel experience, whether you just need simple and cheap guest houses, or want something more specific like gay guest houses in LGTBQ-centric neighborhoods.
