“Firstly this is in no way a reflection of the staff who are fantastic.... This hotel is so tired it's awful. I understand it's old but thats no excuse for zero maintenance. 2 double sockets in the room, both had only one working properly. The safety procedure sheet from the back of the door was on the floor next to the broken coat hanger. The bed base has an awful stain on it which is right in view. 2 windows have no curtains. There is only one chair in the room, which is falling apart, and no...

“We stayed at Littleover Lodge for 2 nights in the mezzanine room with our toddler whilst visiting family in the area. The room was huge, albeit a bit basic, with a downstairs area that was great for our toddler to play in, and the hotel provided us with a travel cot for him. Everything was clean and tidy. The rooms are a bit dated and are maybe due a bit of TLC, but it doesn't affect the experience. We were in the room right next to the pub and couldn't hear anything, even on the bank holiday...

“The welcome we received at the Dog and Partridge from David was excellent. We were quickly booked in and directed to our accommodation. A good feature was that our vehicles were able to be parked close to the room. The room was clean, well maintained and perfectly satisfactory. We had an evening meal in the restaurant which was served without undue delay and was adequate and nourishing. Local Alton beer, which was available at the bar went down a treat. After a sound sleep, and shower we had...

“Absolutely perfect stay as a solo traveler. The hosts were considerate and thoughtful and the room was spotless. Also a very nice English breakfast in the morning with plenty of options.”

“The bed was not great. I will not return to this Marston's site. Experience was made worse as was pleased with the Blue Jay.”

“Mi estancia, que no ha sido la primera, ha sido estupenda. Me alojo ahí por trabajo y bastantes de mis colegas eligen este hotel. Buena comunicación para llegar al aeropuerto de East Midlands. Cerca de restaurantes, bares, etc. El Personal muy amable y servicial. Lo recomiendo y además me volveré a alojar allí de nuevo. ”

“Perfecto”

“This was the ideal stopover, we found the reception, public areas and our room clean and well cared for. All the staff we met, from the moment we arrived till the moment we left friendly and helpful. We ate in the restaurant for both dinner and breakfast and found the choice, presentation and taste really good.”
