“We booked one of the nicer rooms. It seemed like a renovation project had been started but not finished. Half the wooden floor had been sanded and in places patched, the rest was stained. Shower was a clunky 70’s spa tub which ran hot and cold without any changes to the lever. Cupboard with glass doors was missing glass in one of them. Exterior of the hotel looked run down. Everything was just perfect, lots of nice touches, the staff were really helpful, Francesca and Adam went out of their way to make you feel welcome. The chauffeur service was excellent. We had an amazing stay. Look forward to staying again.”
