“Sunny Nest is actually walking distance to the main area of Bourton-on-the-water. They have a farm with donkeys and goats, right out the back yard from the breakfast room. The owner lives on the lower level and has a nice display set up with Cotswold information brochures. There is parking on-site. Breakfast is excellent and the menu is varied. Aside from the usual English breakfast, you can get yogourt, fruit and other egg options and even smoked salmon. I would highly recommend Sunny Nest.”

“Our luxury double room was spacious, clean and kept clean by staff each day. The only comment we would make was that the continental breakfast was not exciting and therefore somewhat disappointing for my wife who does not eat the cooked option.”

“Absolute disgrace of a place. Myself, my mum and my two children booked here for two nights. The fold out bed was apparently for two people. There’s no way. There was a single duvet on it and only one clean towel on top (three towels in total for 4 guests), so even the staff are aware that it cannot sleep 2 persons. “This older home was well maintained and comfy. It was close to the centre of Banbury and down the hill to Banbury Cross and the statue of the lady on the horse. Breakfast is included and there is a wide range of cold or hot meal options; there is a kettle in the room with tea bag’s and coffee packs with sugar and UHT milk made it easy to have a hot drink in your room early morning or in the evening. “A genuinely lovely stay! Hosts were superb. Breakfast cooked to order and arrived hot, everything tasted good. Extra treat to have fresh fruit and yoghurt. Very spacious garden flat styled in relaxed elegance with everything you could reasonably need for a short stay. We stayed 3 nights and were very happy.
