While the staff at this hotel was 10/10, super kind and knew how to make us smile when my party and I arrived at 7am, the property itself was not what we expected. The hotel room did NOT look like the pictures. The room did not look clean upon arrival, even after they made us wait until 4pm to check in. The bathroom was moldy and the shower head barely worked. We had to basically shower against the wall in order to use the shower head. After traveling for a full day and arriving with only a single hour of sleep, changing rooms and complaining to the hotel required too much energy. We will NOT being staying here again. If you are planning a first time trip to NYC do not stay here.

Not a bad hotel, just be aware that there is an additional daily $40-45 “resort fee” on top of the rate. This is not a “resort.” (It is in the small print but easy to miss.) Otherwise it was perfectly fine and very convenient.
