“Just a quick stopover stay. It's nothing fancy but it served It's purpose. The room was ok, beds (twin bedded room) were comfortable. The only 2 complaints I have are. There was only a socket at the side of one bed and there was no chair. The breakfast was very nice, all the usual food you would expect. I'd stay again.”

“Loved the room the desk staff was great! But in the early morning two staff members were just stood outside our door talking very loud and woke me up and then continued to talk very loudly for 30 mins onwards till I had to get up and open to the door and tell them to shut up. This is not what I expected at this type of hotel, this ruined the over all stay. The spa and gym area was nice it’s small with a nice steam room, the bar and everything else was nice just a shame about this employees”

“Lovely grounds and easy walk to the Castle . The room was built with bunks for kids, but as a couple we found if quite roomy. The breakfast buffet was good with fresh watermelon and pineapple a nice treat.”

“Hotel overall feels very tired and run and down. Nobody at reception when we arrived and no button or bell to call. Room decor was ok but there were stains on wall and we had a view of a wall and it was very dark. Breakfast was very good but zero atmosphere. All the fire doors are very annoying and they wake you when you are sleeping.”

“Nice Inn, decent rooms, friendly staff, good food, good location, quiet but only 15 mins walk to town centre or castle.”
