“Parking can be difficult and CCTV in operation. Staff could have been better, kept being locked out of our room. Unfortunately 1 breakfast was poor no eggs and mushrooms not cooked. Not sure if we shall return ”

“Great pub/hotel/bistro in a beautiful peaceful village.
Staff were extremely helpful.
We had a wedding with so needed an early check-in and late return.
Both were accommodated for.
Room was clean, fresh. Continental breakfast was included in price. We also paid extra for cooked b/fast. Very nice freshly cooked, hot, good quality products. Nothing was too much trouble. We would definitely recommend the Star Inn and stay there again. Or even go for a nice meal. Give it a go ! ”

“Lovely relaxing stay - great staff - one the nicest pub gardens we have seen (not for views but for thoughtful landscaping and making the best of limited space)

“The staff were lovely and couldn't have been better. Our room had a bathroom across the hall which opened with a key. A little strange and not great for a 3am wee. We ate here and the food was ok.”
