Good old fashioned country village pub

Good old fashioned pub with accommodation. Friendly and polite staff Great breakfast and had excellent evening meal on one night of our two night stay. Rooms clean and comfortable. We have stayed here before and will return.

Lovely quintessential English pub

A warm, friendly welcome in lovely surroundings with a restaurant and excellent food. Staff all friendly and helpful with no stress and all very accommodating. The room was pleasant and all wonderfully clean and well appointed with towels, hairdryer, water, hot drinks and biscuits.

Absolutely gorgeous find, the owner is welcoming & extremely hospitable. Room was outstanding would definitely recommend to eat here. Even made us a breakfast pack up. Only slight point was the noise but to be expected as we were above the bar … but don’t let that put you off. Superb stay highly recommended

White Lion was brilliant.

Brilliant stay and food. We had our dog with us and they could not have been more dog friendly. We had an evening meal and it was excellent, best cheesecake ever!! All staff were friendly and helpful, could not recommend this pub enough.
