Check in took over an hour standing in line as well as valet parking. No coffee in room. Pool closed at dark and not opened until 11:00. All the staff was friendly and helpful.

This is an adult-only hotel, and no kids are seen. It's quiet and less crowded than the hotel on the strip.

Very affordable and clean i will stay there next time I visit.

Once we walked in the room look very nice. 1 restroom smelled like sewage and the shower the drains were clogged. Water was everywhere and we were cleaning with the towels after every shower. The pool was opened but no the jacuzzi. Very disappointed with my stay and will never book at the Rio again.

We were in the central tower, which has not been updated. Although the are was clean, it had an old smell. And finding your room in the maze like hallway the first time was not a good adventure. Not having a 24 hour cafe where you could just grab a bite to eat without having to deal with the sports book is a shame. The cafe they do have closes at two pm and is a little pricey. The staff were super friendly, although check in policy of only one person in line and not enough seating to accomodate the rest of your party was ridiculous. We didn't gamble, we were there for the Elvis show, which I highly recommend! Valet was amazing and cheaper than other properties. All in all in was a fun trip. Had a few hiccups, next time I would get the newer north tower.
