“From the first welcome to the final farewell, it was a joy to stay there. Substantive breakfasts, pet friendly, old manor house setting with great views. Good choice of relatively local (less than 10 miles) public houses for evening fare. Already hoping to get back there when next visiting the Lakes, which start only six miles north.”

“The team were really friendly and accommodating. They let me check in early after a phone call, offered good recommendations for around the area, and were good chat at breakfast. Had all the amenities I needed in the room including hairdryer and drink glasses. Breakfast was simple but lovely. The atmosphere was friendly and comfortable, I felt very at home.
