“Pub with rooms,with a comfortable bed and plenty of hot water.
Evening staff were warm and welcoming, great evening meal. Breakfast was slightly less relaxed as the waitress was slightly overwhelmed having 4 guests.
An extension lead for the kettle in the bedroom would be useful. Also lots of cooking smells in the room and corridors due to the kitchen door being open all the time.”

“Liked how the staff upgraded us and were responsive to our feedback. Liked the bed and linen, and how, mostly, the apartment was clean. Liked how Oulton Broad North railway station was walkable, and how room 11 has a parking space - if hard to find and quite tight. The place was good value.
Not so good: There was a stained grey rug in the living area that needs replacing. We didn’t have a tea towel or oven gloves until we asked. There was no bath mat - and not enough hooks to hang towels on.”

“Well we have really enjoyed our stay here at The Wherry Hotel. Check in was easy, our room overlooked the water and was very comfortable. Tea/coffee making facilities, hairdryer, toiletries, fans and a radio all
included. The hotel is getting tired in places, it does need some tlc in some areas and there was one staircase that did have a nasty smell. However on the whole the main areas and our room was well maintained and clean.
Breakfast was very good, mainly full English but fruit,...

“On arrival receptionist very helpful.
Dinner v.good young waiter was extremely busy but nothing was too much trouble for him with anyone. Bed a little soft but v. clean
Tea and coffee in the room. Breakfast next morning very good lots of choices.
Would recommend very good value for money.”
