“Will not be returning, staff not helpful at all, dog friendly but couldn’t even let the dog have a sausage at breakfast as they had ran out, they had also ran out of biscuits for the room, garden peas and orange juice. Not a cheap nights stay so these things should not be running out!! Best staff were the morning we were leaving, had they had been on all weekend it would have made it a more pleasant stay”

“On our arrival we were met by the delightful owner who made us feel very welcome. She was also a source of information which proved extremely beneficial.
Our room was part of the converted stable block which was fine apart from the small windows which made the room dark and claustrophobic. Had we stayed longer then I would of asked to be moved. The bathroom was impressive which consisted of both shower and slipper bath.
Food good served by young staff who
looked after all our needs really...

“The rooms were clean and comfortable, with air conditioning and windows that opened enough to provide good airflow.
There were a couple of minor issues in the bathroom. The plastic trim around the shower base had a large hole, leaving sharp edges exposed, so you had to be careful not to catch your toes. The light above the mirror also had a bulb out. These were minor points, and the room was still lovely overall.
The main issue for us was the mattress. Obviously, this is subjective, but both...

“Comfortable room, friendly staff. Had pleasant meal one night, and enjoyed cooked breakfast. Spent few hours in pub lounge, great atmosphere. Small point, we were in room 9 which was noisy at night due to extractor fan out
side. Other than that we enjoyed our stay.”
