“This is not a 4star hotel as described, it’s just a tired old pub that has some accommodation. The ‘deluxe’room that we had booked had stained carpets,sofa and cushions and was very basic. The two small bath towels and one hand towel provided were frayed. The menu is very basic in the pub. I had a pizza that was inedible as it tasted mouldy and looked horrible. “Very dated and run down hotel, rooms needing an urgent refurbishment. There is a pub with a function room that are part of the hotel, where loud music continues playing until quite late. Location is ok, breakfast had the very basic and while some hot options were ok, others were very underwhelming. Overall, there’s way better options at similar night rates. Wouldn’t recommend.”
