“Beds were very clean”

“We came to this property for one night on our way back to Melbourne with our 2 kids (5 and 1 year old), and we found it absolutely perfect for what we needed. We had 2 bedrooms and a spa room, and the kids loved the cottage and the property with all the birds and playground and so much to see. Such a great alternative to staying in a random motel room with kids. A bit out of town, which we loved, but also the Kalimna pub at the end of the street was perfect for a pub meal before tucking back...

“We spent a lovely 3 nights at Ridgemill Estate using it as a base to explore the wider Granite Belt. The staff are genuinely welcoming and Kate was a wonderful host taking us through the extensive wine tasting with plenty of cheerful banter and local stories. Our cabin was modern and well appointed with everything provided for an enjoyable stay. The beautiful country views were enhanced by the charming farm animals like Ninja the cat and the flock of friendly goats always up to be hand fed....

“We stayed in the studio cottage. It is with good ambiance and very spacious unit with full stocked kitchen facilities. The sea view is excellent and all made our stay very pleasant. There was a recent ownership transition and check in was through a phone call. We booked another unit originally with welcome gift and that was changed and we only found out after checking in. The new owner called and apologised and promised some compensation but never heard again. There was no instruction on WiFi...

“Bed was comfortable, the kitchen had good utensils and pans, etc, and the accommodation was very well appointed with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. There was no wash powder on the day we were there, but there was a huge washing machine and dryer available for use. I would recommend this accommodation to families and couples. It was very spacious. ”

“This is the second time we've visited the Low Head, George Town area and wanted to stay at the pilot station. We were not disappointed; these charming old buildings are in great condition for their age. We had trouble with the gas heater in our unit but Jodi from the kiosk came to the rescue. The bed was comfortable; the kitchen well stocked with cooking equipment and parking was onsite and close to the unit. These units are old and have some "quirky" features at times. We would definitely stay...

“This property is full of charm with all the modern essentials & beautifully presented! It's close to the main house but still has enough privacy. Outside the cottage is a beautiful heritage listed garden to appreciate. Off-street parking is a bonus as the streets in Glebe are narrow & it's almost impossible to find a park.”
