Aurora Vacations

Very friendly

We paid in full through Expedia when we booked; however, the property charged us additional resort fees at check in. It doubled the price we paid. The amenities are located at the other property and not within walking distance. The ice machine was broken. I will never stay here again.

The property hasn't been updated since it was built in 1997 - that's at least what it looks like. I'm sure this was an incredibly property when first built, but now in 2026, it's outdated. In my opinion, you're paying for the views - that's about it.

Absolutely terrible experience with just about everything. Paid for this Lodge yet when I show up to check in, they put me in another place completely different than what I ordered. I paid for a Mountain View got put on base floor in room filled with spiderwebs and spiders, bathtub faucet was broken and about to fall apart. I tried to get help and the staff was completely useless. Only trying to sell me on a time share. Laquita was one of the terrible employees. Please avoid Capital Vacations entirely.

The room was clean but our bed frame was broken in the room and no stir stick for coffee. The breakfast was decent and the staff was very friendly.
