“Good location for Doncaster racecourse/snow dome, free parking which is a bonus. Hotel has a main building with reception and bar/restaurant room for breakfast. Rooms are in the annex. Slightly tired looking but room was clean and serviceable for a 1 night stay and staff were helpful as we had some problems accessing room/paying due to a powercut in the area(which I believe isn't uncommon in that area of Doncaster?). “Family room - the room, beds and shower room all clean. Plenty of pillows with the option of firm and soft, duvet is a little small for the bed and the one on the sofa bed was also too small if 2 sharing, so you may need to request extra ones. Aircon is fab for the summer kept the room lovely and cool. Sofa bed is a tight squeeze for 2 children but bed has plenty room for 2 adults. “Lovely family run property with character. Large car park across the road £6.50 for 24 hrs (hotel has small carpark at back). Ideal walking distance for Racecourse and town centre.”

“Great communication as a self check in with a lock box, plenty of private parking next to the accommodation. Carlton Towers has a tea room within walking distance which was convenient. Room was big with everything we needed for 2 nights. Would recommend and stay again if back in the area.”

“Booked 3 rooms at the Mercure Danum Doncaster Centre hotel and it was a mistake. The hotel was a shambles unfortunately. In our room the toilet still had poo stains and the shower gel bottle was broken - couldn't dispense the liquid inside. Our guest's room was unclean and there was someone chain smoking next door - the corridor reeked of cigarette smoke. He found blood stains on his curtains as well.
