“Very disappointing. I paid £98 for a very basic twin room for 1 night. Only 1 bed was made up and room was clean but very dated, and the property and grounds have seen better days and are overall quite scruffy. No TV in room but was told I could watch TV downstairs if I wanted to. The shower didn't work properly - either scalding hot or dribbled out cold water. Sink took ages to drain, noisy radiator. “Burts is family run. Nick and staff make sure that everything is perfection. The food is exemplary and the quality of the linen for the bedrooms is first class. My room was on the second floor and was spacious. My only small gripe would be to replace the shower enclosure curtain with a glass screen. Otherwise, highly recommend this lovely hotel.”

“After a long journey we were so pleased to stay at this B&B, we received a warm welcome, the building is beautiful with lovely views and our room was spotlessly clean and very comfortable. Breakfast was continental only but very well thought out and the communal areas are a special bonus. Would stay here again without a doubt. Thank you.”
