“Aside from the location and proximity to a really wonderful beach, this was an incredibly disappointing 4* hotel. I can only assume the star rating is somehow tied to the prime location as there is little else to write home about here. The family room being the worst of all - terribly dated, still using a plastic shower curtain & a dilapidated balcony that stank of sewage. I don’t know if this is unavoidable due to rotting seaweed nearby or just the unfortunate positioning of some of the rooms...

“Lovely room - great use of space, beautiful comfortable bed with excellent bedding had brilliant night sleep. So much storage, excellent tea tray with everything you could require. Bathroom was really nice loved the shower and separate toilet, plenty of toiletries and towels. Breakfast at the pub next door was lovely with plenty of choice and being on the high street was close to all the amenities. Only very minor detail was the parking was a bit tight but small small detail. Will be back”

“The property is situated in a quiet setting and just a few minutes walk from the magnificent seafront. Being a Inn and a weekend stay.. quite busy during the day and early evening, but to be expected. Staff were very polite and helpful and the food was to a very good standard. “Great location for this hotel in centre of Corfe Castle with parking which is a plus as the village doesn’t have many places to park. We booked a garden room for two nights and were a little disappointed as the garden rooms are all described as spacious and within their own walled garden.
