“The room was clean and reasonably priced. Sadly I didn’t sleep well as the mattress wasn’t very comfortable - small for a double, and it felt like we were rolling together . Hong had kindly given us a room at the back of the house as I mentioned I am a light sleeper, but because it wasn’t the property I was expecting to stay in, it meant it was near to the main road which was quite noisy through most of the night on and off. “El desayuno es el típico inglés. Poco más a destacar. La carne, en la Brasserie, demasiado hecha, aunque las pidas poco hecha. El Fish & Chips sí se les da bien. Muy buen gym. La piscina interior no llegué a probarla, pero muy buena pinta. Habitaciones correctas. Si te duchas en hora punta salen 4 gotas… a las 6 sale con presión. Eso sí, solo por visitar la parte antigua, merece hospedarse allá.”

We're told at reception that the room was up 2 flight of stairs but it would be worth it, Walking into room 12 our breath was taken away, it was definitely worth the climb. Dinner that evening and breakfast next morning we're excellent. Will definitely be back. Jim and Lorna”
