The location was excellent...quiet and beautiful ....Windermere has everything from supermarkets to craft and walking gear shops, pubs to a variety of restaurants. We parked the car in front of The Hideaway, it was just a few minutes walk into the town, and we could also easily drive out to other locations. “2 days well spent at this lovely homely property! Located in a great place with easy parking. Richard is a right bloke, would loved to have stayed up talking to him at the bar but after walking the local fells went to relax in the brilliant room. The hosts put their heart & soul into making everything perfect. We would certainly return. ”

Loved the little touches, electric blinds , TV in the bathroom,espresso machine etc .. also right in the middle of KL , all different type of restaurants. Breakfast at the Royal was very nice too !
