“Lovely quiet location on the edge of Cartmel with good road connections to the tourist areas of the Lakes. The place was spotless and well equipped but they really do only include bedding, towels and loo roll. Whatever else you need make sure you take it with you. It lacked hanging space for clothes in the bedroom and any place to put your cases. We were surprised it was a semi detached building, we could hear a lot of noise, especially doors closing in the attached unit. I would still recommend...

“Room very dated. Shower soaks the bathroom. Shower seal hanging off so water poured onto the floor. Bath panel full of grime across the top and room carpet quite stained. Out view was a brick wall. I was very disappointed to be staying at the back of a garage and not in the actual hotel. I don’t think this was very clear when booking. If I had known I would not have booked. “We stayed for 2 nights in a very small double standard room. No storage space,just a bar about a metre long to hang a couple of items on and small bedside drawers .There was a complimentary breakfast provided and tea making facilities but only a tiny stool so breakfast had to be eaten sitting on the bed. All that being said the room was clean and the bed . In the shower room there is a small towel rail but only big enough for hand towels,we had to drape the wet bath towels over the shower door....
