“Standards have fallen at the Westleton Crown. Outside, several car park bays were inexplicably cordoned off so there was a shortage of available spaces. Inside there was a bucket catching a leak from a skylight in the main dining room. The corridor, staircase and bedroom carpets are dirty and worn. The seat in our WC fell off. Overall, the decor is old, tired and in urgent need of an uplift. We will certainly think carefully before booking the Crown again anytime soon, and we will certainly not...

“We had a fantastic few days away at the wentworth. Our room was over the road in villa/annex, very quiet large room with a lovely large bathroom and shower. Lovely little courtyard garden. The breakfast was very good. We a one meal in the restaurant which was amazing. Overall our stay was excellent and would we will definitely return. Would highly recommend”

“We had a comfortable overnight stay (very comfortable bed!). Having been to a wedding reception that day, we didn’t want much to eat, but found just what we wanted, even though the menu is not extensive. The food was good and the fish and chips are obviously a popular choice, and looked delicious. Breakfast was good. Staff very helpful and friendly.”

Het bed werd meestal niet opgemaakt. Vuile theekopjes bleven gewoon staan. De vloer is niet gestofzuigd. Zeep en shampoo werden niet aangevuld. “We only stayed for 1 night but we were so impressed with how comfy, clean and spacious the lodge was and also the location of the hotel such a beautiful setting with the castle very close by really picturesque. Hotel staff were brilliant very helpful and couldn’t do enough for you. The breakfast which was included in the price was delicious and the eggs Benedict were perfect with a nice runny yolk. We’ll definitely stay again as Orford is such a beautiful quaint place to visit.”
