“Great location for Saltburn & Whitby, lovely, quiet village. Sunday lunch was delicious, big portions, very good value for money. Would highly recommend. The room was clean & very comfortable with fantastic views. The bed was very comfy too. The staff were all very friendly and attentative. Will definitely visit again. ”

“I arrived on a Sunday and had sent a message several days before to say that I would like an evening meal. I went to the dining area at 8pm only to be told that the kitchen had closed for the evening so I was unable to get anything to eat that evening although I was offered crisps. On arrival I was told that the bar would be open until late so I assumed that I would be able to get a bar meal up until about 10pm. “What’s not to love? This place is an absolute gem. The rooms are immaculate, each with its own unique character, and it was so peaceful and relaxing throughout our stay. “Great location for getting around Whitby. Shame about lack of car parking. Shower drain in our room was prone to blocking. Concerned it might flood the downstairs. We did mention it to staff. Overall a pleasant stay. Might be an idea to mention the stairs leading to upper room as less mobile guests may struggle”
