“My wife and I love houses with real character. We enjoyed sitting in a two hundred year old living room, open fire, glass of something in hand- lord of the manor! Very relaxing- really quiet- excellent breakfast. First class hosts- would like to go back some time. ”

There's plenty to walk to in regards to dining, groceries and shopping, and just across the street is the local train station that get you to the city center and the train station in 8 minutes! ”

“Room is clean just a little disappointed with bed very noisy and creeks not sure if springs was gone or what. Breakfast was good. The only disappointment was being woken up at 8 o’clock on a Sunday morning with cleaners banging doors and cleaning away. I know it’s their job but just thought on a Sunday when folk are trying to sleep a little consideration could go a long way. ”
