“This is a great four bedroom house in walking distance to anywhere in McLaren Vale town. Very well equipped and furnished. A full kitchen to allow catering at home, also a barbecue and outdoor dining area. The host is helpful and very friendly. Highly recommended.”

“Host Georg met us on our arrival at Karawatha Cottages. Our cottage was immaculate inside and out. The decor was bery tasteful and there were lots of little touches that elevated it above the norm. The fridge was filled with milk water, tomatoes, yoghurt, eggs bacon, butter and jam. Fresh bread, granola, fruit, chocolate and a bottle of local wine was also provided. ”

“Gorgeous old cottage with new bathroom and kitchen though. Location is an easy walk to the wharf or main st. Can be a little noisy as it’s near a main road but didn’t impact us much. Apart from communication challenges (which may well have been the booking app) was a very pleasant stay. ”

“We stayed here for two nights. We wished we were able to stay longer. The apartment was modern, clean and comfortable. The location was perfect. It was close to the beach, shops and restaurants, but far enough away for it to be peaceful while sitting on the balcony. We would definitely stay here again. ”
