“Great breakfast”

“Lovely characterful charming building. Really comfy bed and bedding. A little tired in areas but overall a great stay and would return again.”

“Habitación limpia, cama muy cómoda. Bien desayuno”

“La comida no ha sido bien! La hamburguesa era seco Tallarines Signapore era puro tabasco (incomible)”

“Helpful staff in a picturesque setting. The food was excellent and our room was spacious and comfortable.”

“El desayuno es el típico inglés. Poco más a destacar. La carne, en la Brasserie, demasiado hecha, aunque las pidas poco hecha. El Fish & Chips sí se les da bien. Muy buen gym. La piscina interior no llegué a probarla, pero muy buena pinta. Habitaciones correctas. Si te duchas en hora punta salen 4 gotas… a las 6 sale con presión. Eso sí, solo por visitar la parte antigua, merece hospedarse allá.”

“Overall, very good for the night. Breakfast was excellent as well as the staff. Rooms very comfortable. Excellent value for money. ”

“FANTASTO para mi nessisito. In English, I tend to look for imperfections, but I could not find a fault in my 3days stay. The setting is wonderful and the staff were ALL happy and helpful.”

“Excellent stay, really comfortable room with helpful staff. Restaurant was a gastronomic experience and I lived it.”

“Lovely stay”

“Excellent place to stay with a family, our 3,6 and 11 year olds loved the outdoor spaces, the gardens and play areas are fantastic and the lounge areas are also great for families. The room was a good size and the dining room had great food at decent prices, esp as kids eat for £1! You can walk directly from the hostel to many different paths into countryside or dovedale. Our family loved this place, I highly recommend it.”

“Excellent choice for alton towers”

“Clean comfortable room with individually operated heater and useful kitchen area. (Microwave , fridge/freezer, kettle). Comfy bed and quiet at night. Nice shower room with towels provided and the added touch of tea, coffee etc and hand soap and shower gel in bathroom. TV always a plus. Overall clean and comfortable and very close to town centre. ”

“Lovely staff and very clean room.”
