“A lovely house in a beautiful location should’ve given us a wonderful holiday but it was far from the 4 star anniversary experience we were hoping for after a very difficult year for my wife & I. We had to be moved from our room due to the shower tray not draining but there were old coffee stains on the skirting board, tablecloth & curtains, not to mention stains on one of the “clean” towels. “The room was quite spacious, Needed a good hoover and dust. It was hot as curtains were open. Nowhere to put anything down in the bathroom. Bathroom ceiling very low over shower, ok for me at 5'3"but not if you are much taller. Ceiling paint flaking off. Breakfast not what I want but that's personal I suppose. Mattress very soft. Quite good location, lots of parking and a huge garden, about 2 miles from the city so I drove there.”
