“Very friendly staff. Free parking available for guests. We gave up a day of cleaning for free beer. the bar is well stacked and the breakfast is both buffet and made to order (free for Inn guests).”

“Room was clean but stuffy due to heat, even with window open. A fan would have helped, and enabled closing the window to cut late night noise from outside. Staff were good and food was good. They were happy to allow me to leave my car on the hotel car park after checkout so we could go out for te mornimg”

“The property was clean and the room had nice sea views. The rooms are in a converted house next to the Indian restaurant at the site. They are as mentioned in the description accessed via stairs .. quite a few although was offered help with bags. The main negative factor is the location. We arrived and witnessed an altercation on the street in the mid-afternoon with a women punched in the face. The police attended. We looked for other food options but only fish and chips available nearby....

“Hotel is in a good location, ample parking. It's a stately building fairly well maintained, though the elevator access on floor 1 is hindered by the carpeting that restricts the door from opening. Yes you have to manually open the door to access the 50 + year old elevator and make sure it doesnt swallow any body part when the door closes, very cool. The food in the attached restaurant/ pub was good, though the service was hindered by only 1 person doing everything, hotel check in and restaurant...

“Enjoyed my stay at the Menai hotel, my room was a good size and clean and comfortable too. The hotel breakfast was very good also. The hotel's location is in Upper Bangor and is not far from the railway station and near bus routes and not far from the town centre either. The limited interaction I had with hotel staff I can say that they were pleasant and helpful. Overall, definitely no complaints.”
