“Could do with modernising. Room was very poor,very uncomfortable bed. Excellent breakfast.”

“Convenient access if traveling to and from nearby airports. Rooms are basic, but absolutely no airflow, even with a fan, and very difficult to sleep when the room is so hot. In general, this is feedback for many hotels that don’t have air-conditioning and it will be an health and safetyissue that is going to need to be addressed sooner than later.”

“The breakfasts were good, although they weren't included, but it was hard to get an evening meal. The room I stayed in was near the road and boiler/ air conditioning so it was very noisy so I slept very badly. The fire alarm went off early in the morning and we didn't get any information from the staff so didn't know if it was safe to return to our rooms. Although geographically it worked well I wouldn't stay there again.”

“The room was brutally hot during our stay, which didn't make for restful sleep. However, the staff were brilliant and provided us with brand new fans, and bottles of cold water which helped the kids get to sleep. The room itself is in need of a deep clean. We had a family room - the beds were really comfortable with clean bedding and towels. “We had an amazing stay here and would definitely recommend! We were lucky enough to get a free upgrade on our room and it was beautifully decorated. They were friendly at check in and took us to our room, leaving us some shortbread biscuits. Breakfast in the Grain store was amazing, we also had dinner there.”

Great to have, in our opinion, excellent food -evening meal and breakfast, good ale and choice of wine by the glass, and service, all on the premises making for an easy stroll back to our room! Our room had cold water coming from the hot tap and vice versa. Took a while to work that out. Informed the manager who made a note to deal with it. We enjoyed our stay and would do so again next time we're in the area.”
