A lovely warm welcome (home made cookies!) and a very comfortable stay. The room was spacious, beds huge, bathroom accessible, bathroom products divine, and there was lots of storage space. Walking distance to the beach and to The Ship Inn, and easy driving distance to other interesting places to visit: Felbrigg Hall, Holt, Blakeney (seal safari) and Wells Next The Sea all worth a visit. Breakfast was lovely and service excellent.

The restaurant was excellent, Sunday lunch was best I’ve had for a long time so we dined there the following night as well. The breakfast was excellent - the residents breakfast included continental breakfast with ham to carve yourself which melted in your mouth and a choice of hot breakfast - gorgeous eggs royal with generous helping of smoked salmon.

Fantastic break away and would recommend to friends and family. One barman was rude but the rest of the staff were excellent and very friendly. Couldn’t fault breakfast for choice quality or service. Look forward to staying here again soon

We have a lovely room which was outside the hotel which was great as we had our dog with us. Our meal restaurant was lovely as was the breakfast , can’t fault a thing! Very friendly staff & will definitely be back.

Excellent stay, breakfast of champions!

We had a beautiful 2 night stay here, pretty little village but close to a beautiful shingle beach. Sharon on the front desk was amazing, she offered us an upgrade which made the time very special. Food was amazing too, breakfast kept us going til the mid afternoon! Can highly recommend the veg tagine to share on the evening menu. Ideal spot for exploring the north Norfolk coast.

Everything about our stay was perfect. The staff couldn’t do more for us, dinner was delicious, breakfast was delicious and such an incredible selection available. The Malting has be developed to a very high standard, and is staffed by very competent and polite people. The bar area has a very traditional feel to it with comfortable seating and beautiful surrounds. The restaurant, whist a little expensive delivers quality food however the menu is rather limited. Service is excellent.
