“Stayed over for one night passing through on a cycling trip. The host was extremely friendly, welcoming and helpful storing and charging our bikes. Only open for B&B but fortunately the local tearoom opens on weekend evenings for meals. Well stocked community shop next door and community pub at the end of the street. Great village and area.”

Great location for exploring the area and Castle Douglas itself is a nice town with lots of independent businesses and plenty cafes, delis...
