“Didnt have a breakfast at hotel. Car park very large making parking easy. A lovely clean room and all staff helpful and friendly. Would definitely recommend this hotel. ”

“The room was very comfortable and clean. And the staff very helpful. We were travelling and had to get up early so missed out on the breakfast. We did not take advantage of the spa facilities so cant comment on this. If we are in the area again we would stay here again. The only down side is there is not a restaurant onsite, we were given a list of places which was very helpful, the pub we chose was only 6 mins down the road in the car and was very welcoming and the food good.”

“We stayed in the Green room for just one night but wished it was longer; what an absolutely lovely and deluxe room. It had everything you need for a comfortable stay. Chairs and sofa, a dressing table and a rather comfortable bed, and various types of pleasant lighting. Very clean bathroom with Faith in Nature toiletries and other useful extras. Someone has put a lot of thought into making this a lovely room. We had a nice welcome, the parking was good, and would thoroughly recommend.”

“We went with our children, who are 5 and 2. The family room we stayed at was big and spacious, so was the bathroom. All beds were comfortable, and they even had a cot ready for our 2yo. The children had a blast playing at the large play area while seeing the goats and alpacas. Breakfast was included and it was pretty good. The only downside was that, even though they have wifi, we had no signal in our room, so we could only go online (wifi or otherwise) at the restaurant and common areas.”

“This was an excellent stay. I was made to feel truly welcome throughout and the staff really did go above and beyond. It was refreshing to stay in an independent hotel and I would highly recommend it.”

“A lovely hotel , conveniently located not far from the Abbey and shops etc. Staff were very helpful at all times and the breakfast was fresh and plentiful. We took our dog and they accommodated him really well. A great stay”

“Everything was excellent. The room was large, really clean and nicely decorated, as was the bathroom. Directions really clear. The breakfast was superb. All the food was fresh, with choice of cereal, fresh fruit, pastries, bread, pancakes, crumpets and hot breakfast cooked to order. Entrance and eating areas also beautifully presented (and decorated for Halloween in our case). Staff were really friendly and helpful. We would definitely recommend The Keep and would book again any time we return...
