“Lovely, quiet place. No luxurious but comfortable. In the heart of Knowlton with shops and restaurants close by and a fabulous bookstore. The only downside for some travelers is the absence of an elevator as the hotel is on the 2nd floor, 1st floor if floor designated in the continental manner, so a flight of stairs.”

“This has to be the best place I have ever stayed at. The place was beautiful and clean. The service was spectacular, the person running the show was so nice. Breakfast had to be the best breakfast I had at place ever and very accommodating to my partners needs (he has stomach problems and can’t eat a lot). “The room was wonderful, the home was cozy, the hosts were lovely, and the breakfast was the best I have ever had anywhere. The proprietress is an exceptional chef. She was also able to accomodate my Gluten Intolerance and the food was just as good as the regular. HIGHLY recommend. ”
