“Lovely stay, beautiful setting”

“Room was clean but the wardrobe needed mending. There were also a couple of holes on the window ledges. The room was quite small. It cost me £63 for a night with a shared bathroom and for the cost I expected better. The shared bathroom was the floor below which was too far from the room. Would have been handy to have a sink in the room. It said on Expedia site there was parking but I was not allowed to park in the car park because I only had a single room. “The room wasn’t clean, the headboard on the bed was worn and ripped, underneath the bed was filthy and full of hairs, a previous guests glasses were left in the room, a small used soap bar used unhygienic and not enough for 2 guests, other items were also not replenished, despite having a previous stay at this hotel which was good this one did not live up to the previous standard and the member of staff on reception was also quite rude”
