“Staff were great. The valley had no water due to the drought. The staff took it in their stride. They were honest about the situation, provided bottled water and kept guests up to date with the situation which was resolved by the next morning. The room was clean, however the paintwork could do with being refreshed. Tea / coffee stains on the wall by the kettle. “We booked one of the nicer rooms. It seemed like a renovation project had been started but not finished. Half the wooden floor had been sanded and in places patched, the rest was stained. Shower was a clunky 70’s spa tub which ran hot and cold without any changes to the lever. Cupboard with glass doors was missing glass in one of them. Exterior of the hotel looked run down.
