“Clean room”

“Free parking Breakfast poor Hotel in neeed of refurbishment. In poor condition Fraying carpets and cleanliness not good Room 25 was cold Even with heating on.Very draughty.Too cold to have shower heated towel rail not working Staff indifferent”

“Lindo lugar lo que está alejado de todo. Silencioso ”

“El hotel tiene su encanto, pero falta un ascensor lo cual cree dificultades con el equipaje para una persona mayor. El cuarto de baño necesita una ducha movible. Sólo había desayuno continental por problemas en la cocina. Creo que es caro por lo que se ofrece.”

“La comida genial muy buena ”

“I was really looking forward to my stay at The Candlesticks. However as soon as I entered, I began to have my doubts. The bar area, where the owner received us, looked particularly shabby and it smelt musty. It was 3pm (an hour after checking-in should have started) and the room wasn't ready. It wasn't such a big deal, but it was another warning sign. I was in a single room, which made a certain saying about a cat spring to mind. “Body wash in shower non existent (run out), sheets smelled like they had been stored damp at some stage. Chicken very dry. Disappointing!!”

“Bit of a gamble as we’d never been before but was booked as a last minute weekend away without breaking the bank. Excellent communication post booking and a very warm welcome upon arrival from Julia on reception. Room was clean, bed extremely comfortable and a decent selection of emergency toiletries. Good parking. Relaxed breakfast with a variety of tasty choices. Would definitely stay again if in this area.”

“Everyone”

“Está muy bien y el desayuno muy rico”

“A very nice room with all that you want. Nice storage, a good tv, lovely warm walk in shower. Comfortable beds and bedding. Probably one of the best family rooms we have visited amongst many hotels. Only criticism is quite a basic breakfast for the money. Enough for us though. Hope to stay here in the future as it is a good location for our visit to family in Fleckney. Very helpfull staff is worth a mention.”

“Friday night sing along right below room. Cleaner not present all the time. Bathroom was across the hall and was cleaned once. Windows were single pane and one lock broken Breakfast was Friday to Sunday only and expensive for what you got.”

“There was no noise”

“Breakfast great...staff also great!”
