“This venue has great potential and the new owner and team obviously have an exciting vision for the future. The hostess was exceptionally friendly and helpful and the breakfast (included) was very tasty. Attention to detail in the room could have been better. Carpet needed hoovering (and replacing) the bed hadn’t been made and although this was remedied, it looked thrown together. “We didn’t stay! As the hotel decided to cancel the evening before the Coldplay concert due to weather! What absolute rubbish. So disappointed and would never consider staying there again. Even paid upfront and booked months in advance. If I had have cancelled within 24 hours I would have been charged! We had to book another hotel which cost us above the odds just so we could attend the concert. A very upsetting and stressful experience. ”
