“We were welcomed so well from our first meeting at reception from the staff in the bar who gave us advice on the various drinks available. The food was tasty and delivered promptly and with always a few words of welcome. The rooms were comfortable and clean. We found the Guiding Star to be very friendly and we would recommend it for a stay.”

“On arrival my wife and I upgraded to a larger room far away from the noisy traffic. The upgrade, by paying extra was made easy by the friendly staff member. The studio room we moved had plenty of space to stay for many nights and it was far away from the noisy highway. ”

However, the layout of the room was odd and a bit unpleasant; the main door opened directly into the bathroom area, which you had to walk through to reach the bedroom.
