“No reception- we were emailed door codes. Room was fine but lacked curtains or good blinds so it was very light. Restaurant was shut on the Monday we were there though there were other options in town. Parking could be a little tricky but we got lucky. Town and local park / lake / peninsula are very walkable.”

“Property is nothing like the advertisement. Paint coming off walls, uncomfortable bed and pillow, faulty light in toilet, no kitchen facilities as advertised and no communication.”

“It is a very peaceful place to stay. The hostess was extremely helpful and was very attentive to our needs. It is a very organic place to stay so be prepared for natural amenities and fresh homemade food. Breakfast was excellent and we were able to choose our dining time and options. Truly a little gem in the Scottish countryside.”

“There were clear instructions emailed about a week before the stay, and once you arrive there is a folder including instructions about what to do when you leave. Everything was spotlessly clean, in good order, and working. We were at the top of the site which was quiet and had stunning views. There was a car space next to our front door. Note that there isn't WiFi on site. This wasn't a problem for us and in the evening we enjoyed the selection of games and DVDs provided in the living room...
