“We used The Family Tree hotel/b&b as a stop over on the way to Bath. The place was superb… very clean, good facilities in the room, with a hearty and delicious breakfast. The off street parking in also very convenient. Additionally the staff were helpful, friendly and polite. Thx for a lovely stay”

“Lea Hurst is a fantastic place to stay , Quiet and secluded. The house is beautifully restored and the room was superb good views over the countryside,, Jen was a superb host and made us feel welcome in her home. Excellent breakfast and the canal path only 5 minutes walk through the garden. Good location for visiting all of the Peak District. Would highly recommend and can’t wait to return ”

“The Hotelis set in its own grounds just off a modrately busy road. We were welcomed when we entered the hotel and check in was very easy. We were shown to our room which was light and airy with very high celings. The Bathroom had a beautiful roll-top bath and a large shwer with a 'waterfall' head. (Great control and none of this water going from hot to cold you sometimes get) We didn't eat here as we were meeting friends in Derby so can't comment about the food but we did have breakfast here...

“Our host was very welcoming. Showed us our room, which was perfect for our needs. Room 1 was chosen for us as it opened onto a garden /woodland area which our two terriers loved. We had a lovely one night stay, had a drink at Whitemoor pub, dinner was 'eating in' at the Aspey Fishbar opposite Tudor Lodge. Lodge was clean, warm, nicely furnished and a good size. Host was welcoming and friendly. Haven't had breakfast yet, but dont doubt itll be hot, tssty and plentiful. ”

“This place was such a good find! We were have a weekend away with friends, stayed here for 3 nights and LOVED it. The owners were lovely, welcoming and helpful. Our room was cleaned while we were there. The location is great for Nottingham city centre. Strongly recommend. ”

“There was little or no noise from the pub. The only noise near my room was other guests arriving and departing. Parking was no problem. Staff were very pleasant and, due to them, I was able to get my head down in good time as I had been up all the previous night. This was followed by a very sound night's sleep. Breakfast was perfectly adequate for me (cereal and toast). The evening meal I had booked was again perfectly satisfactory. For my one night's stay, the experience was fine. ”
