“Room was dirty, scuffed paintwork, stained carpet, skirting boards thick with grime and dust, cobwebs and dead bugs (in the cobwebs) on the ceiling. Not to mention the previous guests dirty towels and sheets were left in a heap in the middle of the floor. At £200 per night excluding breakfast I expect much much better. Very disappointing.”

“Spacious room. The bathroom was also spacious with a good walk in shower.
The meal we had in the restaurant was very nice and breakfast (you need to order the night before) was also very good.”

“Really helpful staff, and room had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. After breakfast we were offered the bill when we explained our reservation included breakfast. It would seem this is an ongoing issue as staff explained they don’t include it but are struggling with Expedia to remove. The owner though didn’t charge us, and although a little awkward to have had the conversation both staff and owner were very lovely in getting it resolved. I would return, but the position on the...

“Badic accommodation. Poor value for money. A pub with rooms. You could smell the fried chips when you opened the door in the car park. The staff were jobs worth and not welcoming.
Poorly maintained property which felt grubby. My room had a sash window broken so couldn't open it. Only good thing were the bath towels and good mattress. Pillows awful. Make sure you don't have a room on the front of the hotel as the noise from the road is continous through the night. I would not stay there...
