“Check-in was quick. The room was good, if a little tired. It was very spacious, with a desk, large couch and plenty of space for clothes. The bed was large and very comfortable. All the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The pub itself is friendly and welcoming. Food wasn't great. I had lasagna. The meat was dry and hard, and some of the pasta sheets were baked rock-hard. I got the impression it was yesterday's food reheated in a microwave. 😒”

“Very clean room and all of the staff were helpful and friendly. Shower is a bit of a dribble and you need to bring your own soap or shower gel. No breakfast but there's options just around the corner. A great pub with lots of beers on offer from their own brewery. I'd happily go back.”

“The room was huge with more than enough space for a seating area as well as a dressing table/coffee station. Tea/coffee provided and hairdryer in room. Bathroom was adequate but dated and some of the seating in the bedroom area was ripped and one of the bedside lights didn’t work. Staff were helpful although it took some time to knowledge us on arrival. They were really helpful when I phoned to make an enquiry prior to arrival.
