“This is a great hotel if you are coming to Taunton by train as it is next to the station. There is also good free parking and it is only a fairly short and easy walk into the centre of town. There also pubs and other shops in the immediate area.”

“Caro the host was lovely and friendly and very hospitable. The old Manor House is beautiful set in rolling countryside. The bedroom was large, beds were comfortable and good shower. Caro provides an excellent breakfast with plenty of choice. Would defo visit again. The Globe Inn nearby does good food and the staff and locals were good fun.”

“The room was clean and tidy, with some parts that needed a bit of love but nothing that spoilt the stay. We stayed in a front room facing the road which was a bit noisey as its quite a busy road but shutting the window at night kept it bearable and sleepable.. The food was very good we had breakfast and dinner and the menu was varied and worth the price which was not expensive either. The service was exceptional especially in the restaurant.
