The hotel is dated and not lavish. However, if you’re looking for a place to rest your head, it certainly does the job. It’s biggest perk is it’s proximity to entertainment corridors! Overall, I had a fine experience and have no complaints.

The staff was wonderful and the lodging was nice but I am disappointed there is no bathtub and that the bedding is so uncomfortable. Those are big sticking points to me, personally. Otherwise I would give this place 5 stars.

Not a bad place, the bed was comfortable and AC worked well. My complaint is that there was no soap provided, not even a bar of hand soap, so we couldn't shower. Other than that, the staff was friendly and helpful and the room was decently clean.

Despite some of the negative reviews regarding this property, my experience was uniformly positive. It’s small, old, spotty WiFi,and lacking in some amenities like a fridge and microwave. But it was clean, in a good neighborhood, comfortable bed, great shower and linens, and quiet. And a great value for the money. Overall a strong B+

The location was amazing it was right along a bus line and very near everything that we wanted to do during our vacation. The main lobby was a cozy space that made you feel at home and the staff was very nice and also helpful. We will definitely come and stay again.

Rooms are clean and tidy up daily. Everything was great, only one flaw, which was the 2 male concierge we're not very helpful or friendly. But\nThe young lady in the day was so nice help.My son in many ways by holding her luggage while we walked out to get a bite to eat before check in. That I appreciated so much

This quaint inn was an excellent stay in Washington DC. The staff was super nice and helpful. The location was real close to the DC sights (1.3 miles straight down 16th to The White House). Bikes, metro everywhere and it all clicked to provide a fabulous dip in the huge pool of sights and sounds of the nations capital. This is a great place with wonderful people.
You’ll love this place (except lack of elevator) what do you expect!

The property is a beautiful old house. We had a suite with a fireplace, beautiful old design elements such as an arch over the window and a built-in corner unit. Beds were comfortable. Air conditioning is provided by window units. Keep in mind there are no elevators, but Tmore, the guy who worked the front desk was very nice and helped me with luggage. He also went upstairs to get ice for me.

Very clean but very basic. It reminded me of staying in a hotel in Europe. There was not refrigerator and the blow dryer didn't work well. I think the mattress on the bed should be replaced as well. That said, the room was quiet, the area around the hotel was peaceful and the subway was only a 15 minute walk from the hotel. I will probably stay there again.

The area has some quick restuarants very close. About a five minute walk is the Dupont Circle area with lots of restuarants, entertainment and convenience stores. The hotel is older/dated with zero amenities. Beds are average at best but the area is very quiet and very safe.
