Charming old 1948 property clean and comfortable warm.No coffee facilities in room but available in the reception area. No breakfast

Room looked clean. It had a window mounted A/C which kept the room cool on a hot day. There were a lot of stairs and no elevator. It also had additional wonky 4 sided step platform. It is impossible to not take steps to your room along with carrying your luggage. It wasn’t awful but I would choose a hotel with elevators especially if my room is on a high floor.

Cosy, easy, friendly, just go for it.

Very cosy and friendly. It is not modern, it is better, it has something historic about it. Even with fireplace in our large room. Unbeatable for the price witch was around 100 USD for 4 people.

Rooms are smelling. Staff are not very cooperative. Some of the guist comes out to reception wearing towl during bath due to some issue in the toilet . Not recomended for living

Clean and convenient. Majority of staff (save one at the front) were pleasant and helpful. Aside from key swipe to get into my room never working, all was fine. And yes, the AC worked, which was crucial, given the temp was ~100 degrees F most of my visit!

This is a lovely, small boutique hotel. My room was small but sparkling clean as was the bathroom. An iron and ironing board, hair dryer and the usual small bottles of soap and shampoo were in the room. And, great internet access. The hotel is located in a lovely residential area where I easily found safe, street parking for the weekend. The hotel keeps the front desk open 24/7 and in the morning hot coffee is available. I don’t consider this a con but this is not a hotel if you are planning to spend a lot of time in your room. It’s definitely for those who want a quiet place to sleep and to get dressed and out in the morning…

A good place to be

This was the second place I stayed while on my trip, such a relief from the first. It was clean and quiet and felt safe. No breakfast but I don't eat that anyway.

The Windsor Inn was a throwback to an earlier age with great working AC, and though the room was small, it did provide everything I needed for one person on a business trip. It was not fancy but very serviceable and very right on the price for DC.
