The breakfast buffet staff was friendly and helpful, and the gym was clean and well-equipped, though it had a slight musty smell. The rooms were a decent size, and the kitchen was well stocked with everything needed for an extended stay. However, the carpets did not appear to be very clean and could benefit from better maintenance. The only downside was that the front desk was frequently unattended in the evenings when assistance was needed.

Fine to stay for a couple of days, would not return again. Location was the best part. The rooms are spacious, but not the cleanest. Stayed three nights and room was never cleaned either. This hotel is located in downtown Washington, D.C. with a secured underground parking garage at a rate of approximately $50.00 per day plus applicable tax. The staff was friendly and helpful. The rooms were very clean, and the complimentary breakfast offered a nice variety of food and beverages. My friends and I had a great visit admiring the cherry blossom trees at their peak bloomage during the last weekend of March 2025. We were pleased with our stay.

My family had a great stay at Residence Inn by Marriott, it’s located in a quiet street and close to Dupont Circle Metro Station (just 5-6 minutes walk). It’s close to downtown DC (3 stations to The Triangle Federal Station), The White House, Capital Building, and Ronald Reagan Airport (6 miles). Staffs are very friendly, they greeted us with a smile when we showed up for breakfast. Breakfast was changed every day. I highly recommend this hotel when you are in DC.

Amazing Staff and Amazing Breakfast

So, the staff made our stay amazing! From the front desk clerk, Ronita, to the maintenance engineer, to the associates at breakfast. They were so incredibly friendly. It was easy to overlook the renovations taking place because the staff took care of any need or concern. They were amazing in the middle of a renovation and I'm sure they will be even more outstanding after. Then there's the breakfast buffet. Incredible. Amazing selection for a variety of dietary needs.
