The hotel was nice, but the as soon as you walk in the lobby you are greeted with a gnarly stench that continued in the elevator and into the hallways. The room was nice, the beds & pillows were awesome but there was two holes in the walls, the bathroom walls need to be cleaned or swiped down, the AC worked Great!, the breakfast & coffee was awesome. Donald at the front desk made our stay much more comfortable. We did stay in the back side of the hotel where the trains passed, the Amtrak wasn’t bad but the freight trains was the loudest. Overall we had a good stay.

We had a fantastic stay here and highly recommend it for couples looking for a relaxing getaway. The staff was incredibly welcoming, and our room was spotless with a beautiful view of the property. A huge highlight was the complimentary breakfast, which offered fresh, high-quality options every morning. Pro tip: Book a room on the higher floors for the quietest experience and the best views. We will definitely be back!

Front staff was great! The rooms were slightly dirty and outdated but for the price it was manageable. The hotel is also right in front of a metro track and construction so very noisy! Also we called the front desk twice to have housekeeping bring toilet paper since we were only left with a half used roll and they never did.

I'm not sure what all the griping is about with this property. If you are going for EDM events at Echostage, or Project Glow, the location is perfect. Yes, it is in a shady area, but just take Ubers. I did knock a star for the parking situation because it is so bad it deserves to be knocked a whole star. I'm not sure what they can do to improve it because the building sits on limited land, but, it isn't it. Thankfully, it's only $15 per night, if you can secure a spot! Overall, we had a great stay. Rooms were clean, elevator was fast, noise was low. Breakfast was just okay. There are better options nearby.

Pros: Staff was excellent and very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was good and there was also plenty of parking available and the bed was comfortable. Cons: The bathroom was not cleaned at all; there was makeup on the walls, someone else's hair in the sink, sticky red substances on the floor and worse of all bodily fluids on a picture. The door stop for extra security was completely broken off so there was no way to ensure safety that way. As a single female traveling for business I did end up leaving a day early because I didn't want to spend another night there. There also wasn't walkable places to eat and watching people shoot up across the street during breakfast was just depressing. I get it's a hotel in DC, but I've stayed in DC, Richmond and Baltimore plenty of times without encountering that on a consistent basis. I would not stay there again but it was a decent price and the staff were great.

Everyone was super nice and the room was clean. The dining area was also clean. Easy parking. I slept like baby honestly. The only thing that I would say needs some work are the elevators. Crazy sounds and very shaky. Scared me a few times.
